Why a Loft Needs Its Own Zone
Most lofts sit above the main living area and share the same duct system. That system was never designed to push air up there evenly. The result is a space that is always a few degrees off, either roasting or chilly. A ductless mini split solves that by putting a dedicated head unit right in the loft.
Mini splits are heat pumps. They cool through brutal Central Texas summers and handle mild winters without a furnace. One head unit gives you independent temperature control for that space. You set it to 72 in July while the rest of the house stays at 78. No more fighting the thermostat.

There are honest exceptions we state up front. A very long line set, a panel upgrade the house already needed, or unusually difficult mounting. Those are rare. We tell you before we start, not after. And these flat prices are for new installs only, not repairs or service calls. If you need a repair, that is a different job.
What the Install Looks Like in Your Loft
Our licensed contractors arrive with everything needed for the job. They mount the indoor head unit on an exterior wall or a ceiling, drill a small hole for the line set, and connect the outdoor condenser. The work usually takes one day. They test the system, check refrigerant levels, and clean up the workspace. No mess left behind.
Standard electrical is included. That means the contractor runs a dedicated circuit from your panel to the outdoor unit. If your panel is full or needs an upgrade, that is a separate job for a licensed electrician. We can point you to one, but we do not do panel upgrades ourselves. The same goes for any insulation work or drywall patching beyond touch-up paint.
