What the Flat Price Includes and Does Not Include
Our flat price covers equipment, labor, line set, standard electrical connection, refrigerant, system testing, and full cleanup. Even a Home Depot run for touch-up paint is included. No trip fees, no upcharges, no surprises. These prices are for new installations only. They do not cover repairs or service calls. If you need a repair, that is a separate conversation.
Honest exceptions are rare and stated up front. If your manufactured home requires an unusually long line set, a panel upgrade that the house already needed, or unusually difficult mounting on a metal roof or thin wall, those are quoted separately. Standard electrical is included, but a full panel upgrade is work for a licensed electrician you arrange. We do not perform that trade.

Most contractors in Central Texas require an in-home visit before quoting, and their prices commonly run $3,000 to $6,000 per zone on a custom bid. That range does not include trip fees or extra charges for electrical or line sets. You wait, you guess, you pay more.

Is the $2,000 1-zone price the same for a mobile home as for a stick-built house?
Yes. The flat price applies to any residential installation covered by our service area as long as it meets standard conditions. Manufactured homes are common for us. If your home requires an unusually long line set or difficult mounting, we quote those exceptions before work begins.
Do you install mini splits in manufactured homes with metal roofs?
Yes. Mounting on metal roofs or thin walls can be more challenging. That is one of the honest exceptions we mention. We will assess the mounting surface and give you a separate quote for any additional hardware or labor. The flat price otherwise holds.
Are mini split heat pumps effective for Central Texas summers and winters?
Yes. Mini splits are heat pumps. They cool your manufactured home efficiently during triple-digit heat and provide enough heat for the mild winters we see along the I-35 corridor. No furnace is needed.
What if my manufactured home needs a new electrical panel?
Our standard electrical work connects the outdoor unit to an existing breaker or subpanel. If the main panel itself needs upgrading, that is work for a licensed electrician you arrange separately. We do not perform panel upgrades. We can coordinate with your electrician if needed.
